up-and-coming filmDialogue Hannover 2014/2015 ©
The international film festival up-and-coming has established networks for young film makers from Germany and worldwide and has set up a sustained range of measures to promote their talents.
The up-and-coming filmDialogue wants to increase and develop these networks.
The filmDialogue is a crossover between congress, workshop and market for talents.
The partners of the dialogues question present ways, develop new ideas and concepts.
Themes are:
alternative funding with emphasis on crowd funding as self-determined film promotion, presentation of ideas for films with emphasis on the pitching of film ideas, comparison of alternative promotion plans.
Participants of the filmDialogue are young film producers, film promoters and young film talents. The filmDialogue gives them a chance to meet, to link up and to become inspired.
The filmDialogue invites their dialogue partners to actively attend speed-datings, workshops, video pitches and film screenings.
For 2015 a further filmDialogue is planned with regard to universities, festivals and institutional promoters.
The filmDialogue is sponsored with funds from EFRE and funded by nordmedia- Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen / Bremen mbH and the City of Hannover.
